| The front of the palace was designed by Pieter Post in a typical dutch classical style. For many years, this part of the palace was known as Oude Hof or Old Court. Very little has changed since then. In front of the palace stand the statues of William the Silent and of Queen Wilhelmina. The palace stands in the street of the same name, Noordeinde street, which has many shops. Includes unique pictures of the cour d' honneur from behind the gates! |
